Professional Experience

Renée C. Barthel (born 1973) studied environmental engineering at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1997.  Following her graduation from the University of Florida, she attended Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois, and was awarded her Juris Doctor degree in 2000.

After graduation from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Ms. Barthel joined the firm of McEachran, Jambor, Keating, Bock & Kurtz, specializing in intellectual property law and related matters.  Ms. Barthel joined the present firm with other attorneys of the McEachran firm in the Fall of 2000.  
           
Ms. Barthel has experience in U.S. and international patent and trademark prosecution matters, patent validity and infringement analysis, patent litigation, license preparation, and trademark clearance.
