Mr. Bock studied mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in 1974. Following his graduation from Michigan, he attended Indiana University School of Law in Bloomington, Indiana, and was awarded his Juris Doctor degree in 1977.

After graduation from Indiana University, Mr. Bock joined the firm of Kinzer, Plyer, Dorn & McEachran in Chicago, specializing in intellectual property law matters. Mr. Bock joined the present firm in a merger with the successor to the Kinzer firm in the Fall of 2000. During his entire career, Mr. Bock has specialized in patent and trademark law and related unfair competition and antitrust matters.

During his many years of experience, Mr. Bock’s practice has covered a broad range of intellectual property law matters. Mr. Bock has extensive experience in U.S. and international patent and trademark prosecution matters, patent validity and infringement analysis, patent and trademark litigation, license preparation, trademark clearance, technology transfer and related matters. He represents diverse clients primarily in the mechanical, electrical and software fields.
