Mr. Alex obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Cornell University in 1992. Thereafter, he worked as a senior legislative aid for a Member of the U.S. House of Representatives. He obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University Law Center in 2001.

Mr. Alex’s practice involves a broad range of patent, trademark and copyright matters, including counseling, licensing and portfolio management; preparing and prosecuting applications; investigation and clearance activities; validity and non-infringement analyses; and litigation. He has additional experience with the enforcement and defense of intellectual property rights over the internet. Mr. Alex’s patent practice focuses on mechanical, medical device and chemical technologies.
